The endorsement functionality that Stratex facilitates allows designated users to edit and endorse an initiative before it is sent through the various workflow stages. These changes will be evident in the audit log and will provide initiatives with increased depth of information.

Key Concepts

Some key concepts to consider with the endorsement function:

  • Endorsers can be from any area, and a large pool of endorsers may be beneficial in identifying trends in what people from different levels and teams think of the initiative.

  • The endorser will be given the option of either yes or no to endorse an initiative once it has been fully filled out and satisfies the fields to become a project. They may also write a comment which will be shown in the audit log.

  • Endorsements cannot occur when another user is working on the initiative (data locks will prevent loss of input information).

Instructions

  1. In the Area/People tab, the responsible person can add the desirable number of users to the list using the ‘add endorser’ button.

  2. The endorser can either access the link via email or check their worklist/all initiatives in Stratex.

  3. When endorsers/responsible person make edits and save the initiative, the option to write a comment will be given and this will be seen by the next user, and in the audit log (as endorser update).

  4. If an endorser does not make an edit and simply selects the endorse button, this also appears on the audit log.
