In Stratex, users can create Financial Analysis. User can edit Financial Analysis via various methods. This is guide for importing financial analysis from excel.

Key Concepts

  • Financial Analysis: Stratex Online financial analysis calculates key financial metrics such as Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period, and Internal Rate of Return (IRR).

  • Excel Integration: Financial analysis can be created in Excel and then uploaded to Stratex uploaded via the provided templates.

  1. Navigate to a Financial Analysis and click the ‘Export Excel’ button.

  2. Open the downloaded Excel file.

  3. Use the following guide to create individual components within the Excel template:

    1. Select Project as the type (Column A).

    2. Enter the Description (Column B).

    3. Select the Company (Column E).

    4. Enter the Start Date (Column F).

    5. Select the Currency (Column P)

  5. Component:

    1. Select Component as the type (Column A).

    2. Enter the Description (Column B).

    3. If applicable, enter the Dependency (Column C).

    4. Select the Component Type (Column G).

    5. Select the Depreciation Class (Column H).

    6. Enter the Useful Life (Column I).

  6. Element:

    1. Select Element as the type (Column A).

    2. Enter the Description (Column B).

    3. If applicable, enter the Dependency (Column C).

    4. Select the Element Type (Column J).

  7. Activity:

    1. Select Activity as the type (Column A).

    2. Enter the Description (Column B).

    3. If applicable, enter the Dependency (Column C).

    4. Select the Activity Type (Column K).

    5. Enter the Activity Duration (Column L).

    6. Enter the Quantity (Column M).

    7. Select the Unit of Measure (Column N).

    8. Enter the Unit Value(Column O).

    9. Select the Currency (Column P).

    10. Select the Cashflow Profile (Column Q).

    11. If the Cashflow Profile is set to Manual, enter the corresponding cashflows in the appropriate monthly columns (Column R onwards).
