Within the Financial Analysis module in Stratex, users have access to various views for analyzing and managing financial data. One of the views is the Grid View, which presents financial analysis data in a spreadsheet-like format, offering a familiar interface for users accustomed to working in Excel.

  1. Within a Financial Analysis, switch to the Grid tab.

  2. Expand or collapse Components, Elements, or Activities by clicking the arrow to the left of their names.

  3. To edit initiative details, right-click on the initiative cell and select ‘Initiative Details’ to open a pop-up.

  4. To add a component, right-click on the initiative cell and choose to add either Investment or Return.

  5. To edit component details, right-click on the component cell and select ‘Component Details’ to open a pop-up.

  6. To add an element, right-click on the component cell and choose the desired element type (Investment or Return).

  7. To edit element details, right-click on the element cell and select ‘Element Details’ to open a pop-up.

  8. To add an activity, right-click on the element cell and select ‘Add Activity’.

  9. To edit activity details, right-click on the activity and select ‘Activity Details’ to open a pop-up.

  10. To clone an activity, right-click on it and select ‘Clone Activity’.

  11. You can edit the name, duration, quantity, unit value, inflow/outflow, and cashflow profile of an activity directly by typing into the corresponding cell.

You can view the details of any component/element/activity by double clicking its cell.

If the cashflow profile for an activity is set as Manual you can enter the cashflow into the grid view itself.

Fields which are greyed out are non-editable.

All outflow cashflow will be positive and red in colour.

Cashflows seen in the grid view are all in the local currency of the Financial Analysis. The currency can be set in the initiative component.
