This guide will walk you through understanding the landing screen and setting your default user settings in Stratex after logging in as a first time user.
Instructions
Logging In:
Use your company assigned AD credentials to sign in into Stratex.
Additional verification may be required based on company policy.
The Dashboard:
Upon sign in, the page displayed is the dashboard.
The dashboard consists of:
a header bar which displays:
a company logo
a circle icon menu button with three stacked horizontal lines
a text indicating the Stratex system name
Radio buttons featuring a ‘+' icon and an initiative stage ex. '+Proposals’
a flag icon
a Name Badge icon
A collapsable sidebar menu (circle menu icon)
‘Create’ action buttons for various stages of an initiative - Idea, Proposal, Business Case
Question mark icons on action buttons will show an informative pop-up
A graph display of ‘My Initiatives’ or all of the initiatives where the user is a relevant party
A ‘Worklist’ container displaying any initiatives requiring action by the user
Set System Language:
Go to the upper right corner of the screen and click on the flag icon.
A menu will appear displaying various flags and a vertical scroll bar
Select a country to assign the system language
Access Help Guide:
Go to the upper right corner of the screen and click on your Name Badge.

Click ‘Help’ to display the Stratex Online Documentation.
Help Documentation will open in a separate tab.
Set Default Area:
Go to the upper right corner of the screen and click on your Name Badge.

Click ‘Settings' to display settings pop up.
You can choose your default area in two ways:
Select from List: A dropdown list of available areas will be displayed. Choose your preferred area from the list.
Search by Group: Click on the search via tree button (an icon resembling a tree structure). This will allow you to search for a specific area based on its group.
Click ‘Save’ to save any changes.
“Enabling alternative file upload” will allow users in China to upload and download attachments using local internet services.
Refresh Stratex:
Go to the upper right corner of the screen and click on your Name Badge.
