The Area Analytics report provides a consolidated, area-level view of CapEx performance against budget targets. Unlike initiative-level Financial Analytics, this report summarises all initiative data at the organisational area level and includes the Target column for direct comparison against planned spend.
Key Concepts
Area Analytics is accessed via Analytics> Area Analytics, with Area as the primary dimension.
The Target column shows the top-down planned CapEx for each area and year, sourced from the latest budget version for that year (Open or Completed).
Targets do not require the budget version to be Completed to appear in the report, values entered against an Open version are visible immediately.
Analysis can be performed in Local or Group Currency. In Group Currency view, figures are subtotalled at parent area levels. In Local Currency view, figures are not subtotalled due to mixed currencies.
